Our clients are located in the US, Australia, and EU. We work with the National Hockey League, Wikipedia, and other great companies. We are looking for a talented QA engineer to join our team. Required Skills: Experience in manual testing of web applications (at least 5 years) Experience in Test Documentation creation and knowledge of Test Design techniques Test management tools (BrowserStack, xRail) Experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger) SQL knowledge and experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL) English B2/C1 Strong communication skills Nice to have: Experience with AWS (S3, CloudWatch) Experience in automation Experience in testing of SOAP (SoapUI) Knowledge of CI/CD Areas of Responsibility: Manual testing of Web Applications (front-end, back-end) Writing Test Documentation (test cases, checklists, requirements, workflow diagrams, etc) Requirement clarification with devs and PMs Tracking and reporting on Jira issues while maintaining up-to-date documentation in Confluence / Test Management System QA efforts estimation; Groomings arrangement and leading Handling issues reported by customers Identifying test automation opportunities and optimization of testing efforts Proactive customer communication and support Why would you want to join? Client: a modern, secure, and intuitive Medicare-focused platform that helps clinics streamline patient intake, eligibility verification, claims submission, and compliance reporting. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a frontend focus , you will lead the development of user‑facing features used daily by clinic administrators, billers, and providers. You’ll work across the stack but spend ~70% of your time on the frontend (TypeScript + React) and ~30% on Node.js backend services that interface with Medicare systems. Experience with healthcare data and usability in a clinical environment is a big plus. Things We Seek: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on frontend development in production. Expertise in TypeScript – you design strict, self‑documenting types for complex domain models. Strong proficiency with Node.js. Deep experience with React. Experience building data‑heavy, form‑intensive web apps with real‑time validation and optimistic updates. Proficient in English at B2/C1 level or higher, with excellent communication skills. Summary: We’re looking for a Full Stack QA Engineer to join our NHL Digital team. This role is ideal for someone who is either: A Manual QA with strong automation skills , or An Automation QA with strong manual testing skills You will own both manual exploratory testing and automated regression suites for web and backend services. You’ll work daily with Playwright + TypeScript and Selenium + Python/pytest , integrate tests into CI/CD, and ensure reliable delivery for millions of hockey fans. The project has a well-defined process, with continuous integration, weekly release cycles, and solid test documentation. Responsibilities: Perform manual exploratory and regression testing on web applications and REST APIs. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright + TypeScript (primary) and Selenium + Python/pytest. Design, execute, and analyze automated test scripts for web UI, REST APIs, and database validation (MySQL). Document, track, and escalate issues in JIRA with clear, reproducible steps. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins). Create test conditions, test data, and scripts covering business and technical use cases. Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing via BrowserStack (plus). Collaborate with developers and product owners in weekly release cycles. Balance manual and automation efforts based on project needs and release timelines. Qualifications: English B2+ (clear verbal/written communication for client coordination). Manual testing experience: Strong understanding of test design techniques. Automation skills: Proficiency in both: TypeScript + Playwright and Python + pytest (with Selenium WebDriver) Solid experience with REST API validation (Postman, requests library, or similar). Confident writing SQL queries (MySQL) for test data setup and result verification. Experience integrating automation into CI pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins). Deep understanding of test automation frameworks and page object models. JIRA for issue and project management. Flexible working hours, independent, self-motivated, and proactive approach. Relevant work experience in development and/or testing roles. Nice to Have (Strong Plus) BrowserStack (real device/browser cloud).
