Position
- Sales Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
- daily operational management
- sales development
- staff management
- promoting and marketing the business
- assist head of sales with sales development tasks
- constantly motivating the sales team to hit their targets and ensure company profitability
- communicating with all the employees and providing encouragement, help, and advice
- dealing with disciplinary matters and customer complaints
- Help with any difficulties regarding materializing bookings requests
- Managing and coordinating efficient and effective sales plan.
- Arranging & Coordinating FAM (Familiarization) trips to hotel/resorts upon request by tour operators
- Participation in webinars, marketing activities
Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in managing a team in the Travel Agency minimum 3 years
- Very high level of responsibility for the team and business process in the company
- Attention to details
- Skills at reservations and sales of tourism products
- Ability to work with people and deal with stressful situations
- Strong character, emotionally stable, self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative
- Good communication skills in order to build close relations with agents and hotel’s management
- Fluent English and fluent Russian (both speaking and writing)
- Business lettering skills
- Negotiation skills
- Computer skills: Windows, Microsoft Office, MS Excel, Internet Explorer, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Word. Reservations/booking systems
Schedule:
- Working days Monday to Friday from 10:00-19:00
- Saturday half day
- Sunday — day off
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in tourism
- As minimum, 3 years experience in the travel field (travel company)
