Middle | Senior QA Engineer

Currently, we’re looking for a Middle QA Engineer to join our team and work on a fintech trading project based in Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios for the internal Payment Gateway and PSP integrations.

• Execute end-to-end, integration, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing covering payment initiation, routing, authorization, processing, settlement, and callback flows.

• Validate transaction processing, PSP responses, webhooks, status handling, reconciliation data,and data integrity across internal systems and external payment providers.

• Test positive and negative payment scenarios including failures, retries, timeouts, declines, refunds,chargebacks, and edge cases.

• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman to validate transaction requests, responses,callbacks, status handling, and data consistency across UI, API, and database layers.

• Manage and maintain test data required for payment scenarios, including PSP sandbox accounts,test cards, e-wallets, and tokenized payment instruments.

• Report, investigate, and reproduce payment-related defects with detailed context; track them to resolution and contribute to regression, smoke, and payment-specific release sign-off.

Technical Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software QA / manual testing within FinTech or payment environment.

• English B2 Upper-Intermediate.

• Strong understanding of payment lifecycle, payment gateways, PSP integrations, and payment processing flows (authorization, capture, refund, chargeback, settlement).

• Experience testing Payment Gateway / PSP integrations, including transaction flows, webhooks,callbacks, asynchronous processing, and event-driven workflows.

• Strong experience in writing test cases, test plans, and validating complex payment scenarios.

• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman for validating transaction-status endpoints,payloads, and callbacks.

• Experience with test and defect management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, Xray) and writing high-quality, reproducible bug reports.
