About the role

I am looking for global team members who can contribute to the future growth of the company. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is looking for a new generation work environment. The role is 100% remote with complete flexibility and is best suited for someone who can effectively communicate and manage deadlines and priorities.

Job duties:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for the assigned set of clients

• Reconcile bank accounts in Quickbooks Online and Xero
• Communicate with clients with regards to outstanding accounting and bookkeeping items
• Provide monthly financial statements and performance analysis
• Prepare and file Canadian sales tax reports (GST/HST/PST/QST)
• Prepare and file the US sales tax reports
• Process payroll according to the client’s schedule
• Continuously improve accounting and reporting processes for the clients
• Review work from other team members and provide commentary

Requirements:

• Perfect spoken and written English
• Proficient in Quickbooks Online and Xero
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with companies in the US & Canada
• Track record of working remotely and independently
• Ability to work in Eastern Time zone Mon-Fri 8 am - 4 pm with minimal meetings
