Senior Python Engineer

EduTech Solution is a Belarus-based IT company founded in 2019 and a resident of the High-Tech Park. We build digital platforms, web and backend solutions, and scalable information systems, combining strong EdTech product expertise with solid experience in custom and outsourced software development for international clients. We work across Western Europe, the Nordics, the Middle East, and the United States, developing both our own products and service-based solutions. Our focus is on engineering quality, sustainable growth, and long-term collaboration with our team. We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position for someone who wants to grow within a stable product and engineering environment, contributing to meaningful and scalable solutions. Requirements 4–5 years of professional experience in Python development Strong knowledge of Django ( ORM, middleware, admin, forms, Celery ) and FastAPI (Pydantic, dependency injection, async) Basic experience with ML libraries : scikit-learn, transformers, spaCy , or similar Proficiency with Docker and understanding of containerization principles Experience designing and optimizing databases, writing complex SQL queries Familiarity with Git and branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow) Comfortable working in Linux environments and using shell scripting Ability to write clean, readable, and well-documented code English level: B1 or higher Nice to Have Understanding of architectural patterns ( MVC, DDD, CQRS ) Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, GCP, Azure ) Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications using Django and FastAPI Design and integrate RESTful APIs with a focus on security and scalability Contribute to projects involving machine learning Containerize applications using Docker and manage development environments Work with relational and non-relational databases ( PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB ) Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews Optimize performance and implement logging, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines What We Offer Long-term, stable collaboration within a growing international company Opportunity to work on both product and client-facing solutions Engineering-driven culture with focus on quality and best practices Supportive team environment and professional growth opportunities If you're looking for a place where you can build, scale, and take ownership — we’d be glad to connect.
